Hi, I’m Dylan Phipps, the hands, heart, and mind behind Texaas Workshop, based in the mitten state of Michigan.

My journey into woodworking started with my grandfather. He was the kind of man who could always be found out in the shop, working with his hands, creating something from nothing. I spent a lot of time watching and learning from him, and that early inspiration stuck with me. Today, every project I build is a nod to him. I hope he’d be proud of the work I’m doing now.

I specialize in high quality wood projects like drink caddies and coasters, all crafted with care and attention to detail. I’m constantly testing out new ideas, so there’s always something fresh in the works.
